Phyllis, is our office manager.  She came to us with 17 years of experience in oral surgery.  Phyllis has a background in firefighting, arson investigation and long-time paramedic work. Her down time involves enjoying her 7 grandkids, dogs, reading, fishing and four wheeling.

LeOna, one of our two assistants. She is a life-long Fairbanksan and graduated from Lathrop High School. In true Alaskan style, she enjoys hunting and fishing as well as spending time with her family. We're excited to have her with us as she keeps everyone laughing.

Heidi has been Dr. Barrera's assistant for over 8 years. Our patients love how she makes them feel instantly comfortable. She has a green thumb and is a fantastic gardener.  In the summer you'll find her cruising town on her Harley-Davidson. She has the cutest Shih Tzu named Lyca.

Shannon, our research/advertising rep enjoys the behind-the-scenes work.  Shannon has been with us since we first opened and moved to part time work when her daughter was born. She enjoys being involved in community associations, being a mom, organizing, traveling, racquetball, reading and teaching CPR classes throughout the community.
